Engine protector removal?

Hello all, I remember reading this question a few weeks ago, but I cannot find it despite my search. Sorry to ask it again.
I will be getting my IO ready for the summer. I had sprayed the engine with a engine protector last winter, can I leave it on and run it as is (added protection against the salt environment) or most it be removed? If so with what? Thanks Ike

just leave it. If you boat in salt apply it once or twice as season as well.

Re: Engine protector removal?

JustJason thanks for the reply. Just wanted to make sure that leaving it would not cause complications, dirt collection, fire hazard or something odd ball like that. Great stuff, plan to use on my MC during winter storage as well next year!!Ike

I use it on the oil pan of my cars every time I change the oil :)

Massachsuettes salty roads are fantastic for rust building.

Does it attract dirt and dust? It seemed very sticky when I sprayed it on last fall, have not seen it since, so I was wondering if it was still as sticky and I was worried that it would be messy every time you reached back by the engine compartment to do any work? Ike
