ENGINE REBUILD HELP

Rebuilding this engine with my grandpa

1990 fourwinns 195 4.3 non vtec

anyone know the part numbers for new piston rings and gear set and also a new camshaft and lifters

or anything in general I’ll talk a whole list! Thank you! Post what you used for you Pre Vortec engine!!

pull your motor and take it to your local machine shop.

you must first machine the block before you buy pistons, rings, etc.

nothing special about a 4.3, however expect to pay about $1800 minimum to rebuild. I personally would go with a vortec block/heads which you can get for about the same price.
