Hi guys...some of you might remember I was swapping a 91 S-10 motor into my boat to replace a blown OMC 4.3L...anyway..

Swap seems to have been a success. BUT, the engine is running really cold on the gauge...like only 100F...why would this be?

Test the thermostat with a cooking thermometer in water to make sure it is opening at the correct temp (mine is 160 degrees).

Is the temp sending unit the same from the previous engine?
