I have an 1984 AQ125B with the old style single barrel solex carb. The carb was rebuilt and all was working until last weekend. The entire fuel system is brand new including the tank. What I found is that there is no fuel squirting out of the Accel. pump nozzle ( It was, so what happened). When the engine is idling it runs fine, but when you accelerate fuel sprays out from the little holes in the side of the idle jet that screws into the emmulsion tube, but not the accel pump tube. Is this suppossed to happen? I tried to remove the idle jet from the emmulsion tube, but the entire emmulsion tube spins. Is this normal? Boat runs fine once you get it past the intial acceleration void from no fuel squirting out from Accel. nozzel.
