I have a 1989 Four Winns Horizon 180 with a Cobra 3.0l V6 . The engine will start but it will not idle below 1,000 rpm. I drained the gas tank and put a new fuel filter and new fuel. Also I changed the spark plugs. Does not have a miss but it dies when you pull throttle back to the neutral position. 
Ok I have to add this... Im actually doing this for my boyfriend. Im not entirely 100% on the exact motor. Trying to find the specs but im not really sure he says its the cobra 3.0l v6 but was looking and the 1990 model of same boat had the cobra 4.3l !!! Typical female stuff not sure of anything! I apologize
Yay okay it does have the cobra 4.3l v6 ! So now that we know that the problem still remains. Please someone help!!:redface:
