115 johnson 1998 loop 60 degree carb. Starts fine and runs, however if I turn it off it will not restart for a day or 2. It doesn't seem to have a spark, it does seem to have fuel. Ken

Thanks for he reply. I removed the fuel hose at the carb and had fuel. Then I removed the plugs and grouding them to the block cranked the engine and had no spark. I first broke down on a Tuesday , on thursday It started right up I turned the engine off and restarted several times without a problem. Went bak to look at it again saturday and it started fine ran it for 10 -15 minutes at idle and it wouldn't restart. Yesterday it startted fine but wouldn't restart after 5 minutes run tine. I check the voltage before starting and the battery read 12.5V while running at idle it read 13.1v Thanks , Ken

Hello again, Just got back from the dock. Started engine, ran it for 35 minutes ,docked, at idle. turned off and restarted 12-15 times, no problem this time. ?? Ken
