I have a 1986 Johnson 50hp. So far the engine is running decent except a lot of times the key ignition and Kill switch won't kill the engine.
I think I have a loose wire b/c if I move wires around on the engine it will work for a while. (Both key and kill) But then when I remove the cover and screw around some more with the motor it starts its not shutting off crap again.
So do I need to follow the Black/yellow striped wire and see where it is broken, corroded, or loose somewhere?
