Engine Temps Mariner 90

I have a 2005 Mariner 90 Optimax and would like to know what the idle engine temp should be, it's showing 130F which seems very high with a 3500rph temp showing 74F? Can anyone help on this one?..Many thanks..Rob.

Thermostat open at 143. It's normal for the temp at idle to be higher, as water don't run as fast around the block than at WOT. Let it run at idle for a while and let the temp reach 143 until the t-stat open, then you'll see it dropping.
