I have a 1986 Bayliner with Twin Volvo Penta 260s (in-board/outboard. One engine starts and run just fine. But, I can't turn it off. I have to pull the coil. I replaced the ignition switch on the dash, but that didn't work. Can any one shed some light on what is causing this? Thanks in advance. Charlie.

Thank you very much.<br />Is there a "best" way to repair this? Can I replace the Diode or will I have to replace the Alt.? (I am new at this, obviously.)
