engine will not stay running

Boat&motor- 1986 21' bayliner capri-aq225e #cu56837.....

first off the boat ran great form the past two weekends so took it out this weekend and it ran fine for the first 2 or 3 hrs then while running at 3/4 throtle it stalled out sound a like like it ran out of gas so i put 5 gallons of gas in it cause i always carry a gas can it started right up ran for about 10 min then died again.....after that it would start and run for about 15 seconds and die....then wouldnt start at all.....got towed in and now trying to figure out whats the issue....put more gas in and it's doing the same thing I checked the water seperater and filters all were clean..... not sure what to check next

Ayuh,... The tank, tank fittings, fuel lines, fuel pump, or the Carb...

Something is Plugged, or Not workin'...Check each 1...

i checked the lines and i'm getting gas to the carb when i pump the throtle i can see gas squirting in it from the jets......

Just because gas is getting there right now doesn't mean its getting a constant supply.

You already had great advise given to you. There is no easy simple "you forgot to push this button"fix. You already have it narrowed down to a fuel delivery issue. Now you have to go through the steps to find the problem. R&R all your filters,check your fuel pressure (with a gauge) and your fuel tank vent line. Sounds like you sucked a bunch of crap off the bottom of your tank when you ran it low on fuel...
