Engine won't start after adjusting air fuel mixture

Hey All,

I have a 95 6hp Mercury. The engine would start pretty much first pull but had some stumble at idle. I adjusted the air fuel mixture per the manual by rotatating all the way clockwise and then backing off by 1.5 turns. My engine now won't start at all and I was a fool and didn't count how many turns in I did for the previous setting. Anyone have any ideas?

That motor has a primer so it should at least fire. Did you hit the kill switch by chance?

I definitely have the motor in the on position. I tried backing out the air fuel mixture screw a little more and it turns over just wont fire up. I backed out a few more turns while trying to fire it up every half turn but think its flooded now. I pulled the spark plugs and they are wet. I'll try starting over in a few hours.

Do you have the primer puled out? Have you turned the knob for fast idle?

I do have the primer pulled out all the way and turned clockwise to fast idle. The only other adjustment I made was to the idle cam but it was very minor so I didn't think that would have been the issue (screen shot for reference)

I went back out after a few hours to work on it some more. Started from the beginning and was able to fire it up. I think I flooded it earlier. Thanks for the replies and chatting through the issue.
