engine year

I acquired a 25 hp Johnson outboard recently. The model and serial numbers are almost imposible to read on the outside plate on the engine. To the best of my ability, the #'s are--serial- G3308889 and model- J26TEET 6. If anyone can help me figure out what year this engine is and the spark plug recomended kind and gap, I would be very grateful. Also where to find a Clymer repair manual as well as an owner's manual for this model.
