I'm looking to buy a used Bay Boat or CC in the 18' range. I will consider anything from 1998 to 2003 depending on the condition and $. Which outboards should I watch out for as far as proven reliability and which ones should I stay away from.<br />Stalker

I would recommend that you approach any OMC FICHT or Merc OptiMax from that period with suspicion, nightstalker.
