enginge swap 470 to 4.3?

finally getting rid of the 3.7, repowering with a mercruiser 4.3 complete with outdrive, i currently have the 3.7's wich has a diff ratio, is there any other things i need to replace. both engines are 88's, with alpha gen 1 outdrives.
anybody done this swap? i do have plenty of room for the 4.3! and will get it complete with outdrive,gimbal housing ready to drop in from a current running and very good cond boat!(owner replaced with 5.7mpi).

isn't the rest of the driveline the same between the 2 except for the engines?

iam picking up the motor on tuesday(it was still on boat when purshased), i don't have an idea if the ratio on both outdrive are the same, mine was rebuilt last season! maybe i should keep it for spare. i'll post some pics and let you know how it went. thanks

sure we already have the 470 out, waiting for the 4.3 on tuesday! Ill take pics on tuesday!

The 470 uses a 6 cylinder drive ratio---Should be the same as the V6.

did the 470 use the side engine mounts like the v6? If not, plan on adding them.
