I need to figure out, since it's an after market upgrade, if they routed the hoses correctly.
It looks like fuel is taken from the top carb fuel bowl to the bottom two carbs float bowl.
Reading in the Seloc manual it should be the other way around:
Enricher System Late Models:
The enricher system accomplishes the same function as the old hand choke method by providing an initial rich fuel charge for starting a cold powerhead.
The system consists of an electrical enrichener valve mounted port or starboard of the top carburetor. The valve is gravity fed with fuel from the float bowl of the top carburetor. When the ignition key, or choke knob, is activated, electrical current is supplied to the valve. The valve opens and allows fuel to pass from the float bowl of the top carburetor through the valve and into the fuel bowls of the other carburetors. p.4-5
in the image is where they tapped into the top carb
Re: Enricher System hose routing?

Your top carb is the one that should have the bowl connection on it for fuel supply and the bottom 2 should have the primer fittings on the venturies to prime the engine

Re: Enricher System hose routing?

It is set up correctly to take fuel from the bowl on the top carb...since its gravity fed it must work that way.

The manual does not say it should be the other way around....read carefully what you posted from the manual.

Re: Enricher System hose routing?

the diagram on the right wont work the one on the left will.
to make yours work will require the lower two carbs to be fittid with the nipples like the top carb and the top carb be fitted like one of the lower two and the solinoid MUST be mounted lower than the upper carb fuel bowl for gravity to work.
on the right hand diagram it uses magic fuel to run uphill to feed the intake from the lower two fuel bowls.

If it's an inline 6, you'll only neeed to connect the output to the ONE hose fitting that's locateted at the middle "T" of the balancer tubes.

-W

Re: Enricher System hose routing?

Are you saying that I only need to tap the output of the enrichener valve to these tubes? and on the center 'T'? And which place; 1,2,3? I'm assuming I need to 'T' into one of these hoses.
What about the ports on the carburetor bodies; Do I just cap them off?
Does it matter which point I tap into?
