All sub $40K boats are entry level these days. Nothing magical about building them. Manufacturers are trying to squeeze every drop of profit at the same time building a boat that doesn't fall apart in 10 years.

Are you opposed to gently used? You could get a lot more for your money.

Buy a used well taken care of higher quality boat. Get something 5 or 6 yrs old and it's depreciated already. So many deals out there on used
