Envinrude 120 need a tune up?

1990 evinrude 120 <br />my first trip to the lake my engine would not idle out. <br />my secound i have exhaust smoke making enveryone want to leave the dock.l<br />i still havent gotten away from the dock a friend said i should soak my carberator in gas. <br />any suggestions, i did have a tune up at the end of the season last year i am a little confused

May cost you nuttin if you use the wrong fuel mix. What are you using? Do you have a manual?

Do you have VRO hooked up on your motor? If so, that could be the problem if it's putting out to much oil. Let us know.

yes i do i have a vro no alcohol tag connected to a bolt.<br />maybe it is a just putting too much oil in the mix<br />thankyou
