I dont want to buy a huge amount of glue to laminate some pieces of plywood together, is my best bet to buy those 2 part kits that dispense equally with the shared double plunger?
Or are there other options for waterproof bonds?

Laminating plywood face-to-face (vs end-to-end) can be done with titebond III which is supposed to be waterproof. I have never used it though.

You can also use polyester resin and cloth to laminate them. If it is for a transom, stringer or frame, I would use the poly resin and cloth, as I know it will stand up to moisture, and you will want to encapsulate it with poly resin and cloth anyway..

Always helpful to include details @ aluminum or fiberglass boat when asking questions, OR ask rebulid questions in the topic about the rebuild.

I used polyurethane based gorilla glue and there's a Titebond version.

Titebond 3 is completely waterproof once cured.

I used TB3 and glass cloth to build my little knock-down canoe/kayak hybrid, no polyester or epoxy resin. Not intended for use in a larger, much heavier boat, but waterproof.

Thanks Chris, and @jbcurt00

This is to laminate a one or two pieces of 5/8 ply to the underside of a new 5/8” ply floor for flange mounted seat posts. I’m not going too crazy with it. (Nothing more than old timers formula and a few coats of spar underneath. This is a dry stored, fair weather boat with a bilge that shouldn’t see much water. It should last me until I’m too old to take it out...
