Is there an epoxy that can be used on an old curved plexiglass windshield that is clear and will stay clear? There is an 8 inch crack with slight seperation that I would like to fix. I know it wont last forever but I do not have the cash for a new windscreen. Thanks!

Use one of the Weld On Products.

Check local boating stores for availability. I have seen it for sale on e-bay too.

This plastics site sells it. You can e-mail them a question for your application. Use their cont link at the top of the page.

Ayuh,... Epoxy would be a Poor Choice,... It doesn't like Sunlight,... At All...

Forgot about this product. You can get it at Home Depot, Auto Stores, K-mart, etc.

I do not know if it stays clear for long term but it is rated for UV,

Marine Goop: http://www.eclecticproducts.com/marine.htm

My son in law used it to glue a piece of black lexan over a crack on his side shield and it has held for the last two years.

He did know about the weld on solvent at the time.
