What's the protocol here for new layups over older layups both done with epoxy resin. I'm talking about glassing to something that was done a day or two ago, maybe a week.

Does it need to be scuffed up. Acetone of course. Not sure about soap and water for the amine blush. Not sure if i have blushing. Guess I'm just looking for the prep guidelines in general as it relates to epoxy over cured epoxy.

I like to rough up the surface of anything that I'm epoxying. It doesn't hurt to give it that extra mechanical bond, so I would rough it up a little bit and then clean with acetone. just my two cents.

I agree exactly. If you don't rough it up, don't expect the joint to last.

Anime blush looks like vasaline was smeared on the epoxy. Feels sticky. It washes off easily with dish detergent and water and a soft scrub brush. Then do the sanding. You don't want to sand directly on anime blush, because the wax is just spread around and not entirely removed.
