1988 johnson 175 vro.motor cranks fine and has full power, I can take off and trim the motor out and all of a sudden it loses power and throttles down on its own. I can throttle bak with the trottle and it runs ok bur wont rev up, After a minute or so it starts to get power back and it will go from full power to about half power several times then it will kick into full power and I have no problems for the res of the day. Only occurs when I first start.
