I have a 5hp Eska Model 1705. Serial 150731. Can you tell me the year, or where to find out? Thanks

I also have a 1972 1705D. Still Runs great. Only problem is the gas tank is rotted out. I want to plug the line from the tank and use an external tank. I heard there are different size fittings, can someone tell me what size/style connector I need? I saw a post a while back that said to use a Yamaha tank, but make sure you get the small connector. Can anyone validate that?
