just bought a 5hp eska from the flea market for 80% it has spark but wont start/turn over. theres an idle knob and i dont know how to work it. not sure of the year either.

left to rich the idle right to lean it. shouldn't make much diffrence starting it, it is you idle adjustment

I would say if you have spark you need a carb kit and new fuel lines, clean and regap the points....and check the tank for rust
