ESKA ??? Need Info

Hello everyone, I saved this Eska outboard from the scrap pile and would like any information on exactly what I have. I can see it's missing the top rewind starter and some type of air filter. There's a few bolts missing but it turns over and looks in good shape.

I found a tag that reads: T-642-08 (below that is) 5867358 (and on the back of the tag along the edge reads) B 69 12

the engine type numbers T-642-08 puts it as a 1969 3.5 hiawatha-gambles models 1188 or 1188a

Thanks for the info losnbama. I was able to get a better look at it today and found another plate under some grime;

Model: 703
Ser:252412

From what I've read here on iboats the fuel mix is 16:1 ?? (8oz of chainsaw or weed eater oil to a gal of gas?) It will have to wait a few months but I can't wait to get started. It's exactly what I was looking for to power my duck boat.

use tcw3 outboard oil only...fuel mix is correct at 16:1 your motor could be a model 1703 3.5hp 1969 either way the ignition is the same.heres a helpful link http://www.smallenginesuppliers.com...umseh_2-Cycle_Engines_Service_Information.pdf

Great news, I got a call from the guy I got the Eska from and while he was unloading the trailer at the scrap yard he came across the missing pieces that go with the outboard.

I'm psyched
