Here in Florida there is a large very shallow bay. The channel is clearly marked and 30 mph but too shallow for most larger craft. There is a narrow "privately" marked channel that follows the shoreline where depth is sufficient for larger boats to cruise through while on a plane. Come off a plane or vary very far and you may be stuck in two feet of water...
Anyhow one weekend there's a string of five or six 25' plus boats crusing through with a small 16-18 foot bowrider leading the pack. Each boat is following the one in front of it by several lengths and making 20-25 mph. Suddenly and without notice the bowrider comes toa dead stop. Needless to say several large boats are now suddenly on top of each other, struggling to stay on a plane and not hit the boats dashing in every direction in front of them.
Some people just dont think about their actions and how they may affect others. You cant go boating in your own little world.
