Etec 25& 30 hp.

I was reading a blurb on the "soon to be available" etec 25/30 hp
Sounds well thought out trim and tilt on tiller ,electronic trolling control
no scheduled maintenance for 3 years or 300 hours.etc etc.35 cu in block 142 lbs should give it some beef without a ton of weight.Looking at that 35 cubes it seems they could make an ultra light
40 imagine a 140 lb 40, unheard of in todays motors.

Boy, would I love to have one of the E-tec 40 tillers on my Yazoo. I was expecting a drastic weight addition when I finally get to repower from the 1975 Evinrude 40. Guess I could live with a 4 pound increase.

Right now the 142 lb 40 hp is my pipe dream.But In my mind the present
52 cu in 40 hp is over kill at 240 lbs. Seems like the 35 cube would easily make 40.It might have to be heavier than the 30 but probably close
to it in weight.
