I have an 06 etec 75 hp. It has a hesitation or miss from 1200 - 1800 rpm. It is continuous anytime in this rpm range. Elswhere it runs fine. The only other odd thing is when you put it back in nuetral the engine will actually rev up 300-4oo rpm then settle down. My dealer says it is because of not running a BRP prop. He put on a 17p sst and the problem went away. I have a 19p powertech. I'm thinking it is more of a load issue that causes the this problem to be more evident. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions on this. I've already replaced the primer bulb and thinking about the anti siphon valve on the tank. Just thinking of a lean condition or air getting into the fuel system. Motor is on a H51 express.
