ethanol gas

should i expect any problems with my 89 evinrude 110 v-4 due to ethanol only gas now in my state? thanks

Not really.<br /><br />Your '89' was at the edge, as far as hoses, etc. being ethanol capable.<br /><br />As long as you are at 87 octane and above, no worries.<br /><br />However, I STRONGLY recommend that you consider replacing fuel hoses-especailly under the hood.

Sass,<br /><br />Be sure to use only fuel rated (marine) red-stripe fuel hose(s).
