Has anyone used this product in their own fuel tank? If so, what were the results? Good? Bad? and Why? I've purchased it and I'm ready to give it a go. Just looking for things to look out for or things to do or not do.

Still trying to solve problems with my Suzuki Dt85. Thanks....

I'm not familiar with that product, but Stabil Marine(Walmart $20/quart) is a widely used and proven fuel stabilizer. Install a fuel/water seperator(Walmart $27) or the Yamaha or Racor brands which may be better but cost more. The water/fuel seperators are great preventive maintenance items that will pay for themselves in repairs, carb rebuilds, dependability. Good Luck!

Ethanol Rx is supposed to attach itself to the water molecules in your fuel system and fuse themselves into a burnable substance. I already installed a water/fuel separator and drained and cleaned the tank. Refilled with gas and water showed up immediately. Hoping to cure my problem and then Stabil the tank from then on. Thanks....

Re: Ethanol Rx Products?

water showed up quick...maybe came directly from the tanks at the gas station. If you didn't have your fuel/water seperator you'd probably be having motor problems already. If your motor has carbs then it would be a very good idea to drain each one until the water issue is eliminated. Fuel injectors have particular trouble with water and can require replacement of injectors. Good Luck!
