Probably means it is approved for sale in the European Union following the 2006 guidelines. <br /><br />Guidelines for what? Who knows?<br />Emissions?<br />Fuel economy?<br />Cosmetics?<br />Bribe has been paid?<br /><br />Previously, products being imported to Europe would have an "EC" on the item.
