bd,

Fuel should not spill, if your carb. needle/seat valves are in good working order.

If you are using the original OEM "T n T" system, the engine "setback" does not change.

If you are using the CMC tilt system, the engine setback will change by about 5". Only you can be the judge of whether or not your cables are long enough.

Re: EVENRUDE 1973 POWER TILT ????

I just put a CMC tilt and trim on my 17' thundercraft it has a 110 evinrude. I have used it for one season and have loved it.... it costed about $400. they are advertized many places or you can buy them from the manufacturer....
The CMC is a hydrolic unit that just runs from a switch and hooks to the battery

Re: EVENRUDE 1973 POWER TILT ????

Thanks for the info on my power tilt and trim post. I'm ok with the control issue, but remain concerned about the effect the 5" set back will have on the steering hook up at the engine. Any info you can give me about this will once again be appreciated.
