Evenrude 35: no spark after ignition swith replacement

I replacd a bad remote ignition switch on my 35 Rude (on a 16 foot Pacific Mariner). After the replacement, motor started fine one time only! It ran briefly then died. Won't restart. Appears to be no spark. Any ideas? Should I check the wires from the switch for specific voltages to confirm if there is a problem with the switch?<br /><br />Help! I gotta fish for those Puget Sound blackmouth!!!

Why did you replace the Switch?? Did you have same problem before?? Ofcourse check the voltage and your wireing. Check your fuses also if voltage not there.
