Evenrude 6 hp fisherman

I have an Evenrude 6hp fisherman outboard motor.<br />The serial number is 6202djo5881.<br />Can anyone tell me what year the motor is and if so, is there a way you can tell by the sn or is it in a manual?<br />Thanks.

Welcome to Iboats, lwright!<br />The 6202 part is the model number, and that identifies it as a 1972 model 6hp. Anything else you would like to know?
