Ever get those Tstat sleves out without destruction?

Just curious,stuck open stat and replaced today.Except for the on order sleeve.-B

I just did recently. sprayed some pb blast around the lip. then used a pry bar with a screwdriver as a spacer up top so it wasn't trying to pry right no the sleeve. put it in bottom and twisted then worked my way around.... At first I thought there was no way it was coming out but she survived
