Ever thought of having a "for sale" forum??

Sorry if this has been asked before(did a search with no results) but I have some stuff(barefoot wetsuit) I need to sell and this would be a great place to advertise it. I don't see a place to do this so I WON'T for fear of being beaten severely by the moderator(s). Ya'll ever thought about having a place for us to sell/trade/buy stuff??

It would be nice since this forum has a very specific audience to items such as yours. I have some as well.<br /><br />I like EBay, but there are fees involved.<br /><br />I would like to see an 'honor system' selling forum.<br /><br />H.

Yes, DR. <br /><br />It has been discussed many times. It would certainly be popular and helpful to our members, BUT:<br /><br />iboats is a retailer of many products, and the iboats Classified offers boats, etc. for sale.<br /><br />I don't see a realistic way to keep the content of a Flea Market from competing with the business of our sponsor and benefactor. <br /><br />It is tough enough to just keep the fora suitable for family reading, posts in the correct forum, deal with multiple postings and regulate the trolls. <br /><br />I wouldn't want to be in the position of having to decide if an item for sale was acceptable (not competing) or not. We would end up disappointing too many people.<br /><br />I suggest a non-sponsored site for advertising stuff for sale or, better yet, Ebay.<br /><br />Good luck.

True enough JB...never thought about that. Oh well, it was a thought. And if anyone is looking for a nice BF wetsuit...give me a holler.
