Hi all, I read in a post before you can get the codes out of the check engine light, but disconnecting the throttle cables and opening the throttle to WOT and then turn the key on and the check engine light will blink out the codes? I guess this is not the correct way as I have done it several times and the light does not blink. But when I crank my engine the light comes right on and the alarm sounds. Thanks for any help.
