Hello again,<br />We are still having major problems with the ignition system that we posted a couple of months ago. We have changed stator coils ,power packs and high tention coils many times at great expence.Based in Thailand we have ordered these spare parts from Singapore and have also changed the main wiring harness on the engine and the remote wiring harness. One of the people who kindly offered assistance last time on this notice board recommended changing the key contact ignition switch which we have also done. Several qualified engineers have assisted at different times and on occasion have managed to start the engine and run for a short time.Unfortunately this success is always short lived and the engine again becomes unstartable with all the workshop manual specifications not agreeing with the engine measurements.We would now really appreciate any more input on this problem and also where we could now order in USA one more stator coil, one power pack and one'LED sensing unit'. Any dealership that can arrange transport overseas and who we can pay by telex transfer and who has email capability would be most helpful...<br />We have already tried West Marine but apparently they do not stock these items.<br />Any help or ideas on this subject we thank you in advance.<br />If nothing else the engine might make a good mooring but it would probably damage the environment........<br />Thank you, Pai.
