I mentioned this motor last week
Its 91 electric start.
I cleaned carb out kit in it.
Thought my issue was plastic part center of carb bowl with high speed jet and 1” rubber hose.
Id starts easy 2nd pull after sitting 4 years I always run it dry and pull choke as well as Sta-Bil in gas.
It idles smoothly and runs strong.
When it hits mid-range it stumbles a bit but dosen’t hamper going to high speed jet and planing off.
Ive noticed a slight bit of this since I’ve had it but worse now.
Still not bad enough to cause great concern but I’d like it better.
I found no welch plugs to get to any more air passages. I blow the potent acetone brake thru all passages followed my air. I thought it might be that plastic Nozzle Well but can’t tell in barrel.
I used factory kit and removed low speed jet and replaced rubber bushing around it.
I have another 90 model identical except no electric start and different tiller handle.It has same issue.
Compression is 78 and 90psi
90 model is 90 and 90psi
I notice when taking plastic top of carb off the 3 tiny air holes in metal.I assume this is low,medium and high speed jets
Another curious thing is the hole diameter of brass high speed jet is considerably larger on 91 model.This is jet that threads into Nozzle Well
