Evinrude 15hp remote conversion problems.

I have a 1985 15hp Evinrude that is like mint condition. Runs like a champ. I am converting it to remote throttle and steering. I have the full remote kit 386660. I can't figure out how to connect the steering link arm 175110 to the adapter (319948). Also, does anyone know of a simple throttle control box that has throttle only and isn't a gigantic piece of machinery? I don't need the shifter built in and I have limited room on this Jon Boat build. Any help you could offer would help me 10000%

You need this. Or THis. Might as well hook up the shifting same remote either way.

tell me you didnt order that antique Box. The newer white and black ones are significantly narrower than that. That will not use modern cables. Buy the VEVOR knockoff or go on craigslist or marketplace.
