Evinrude 175 V6

I am having trouble starting this motor.It is very sensative. It will turn over and sputter but will not fire. When it does fire you don't have any trouble restarting it. Example got it started on Monday cranked on Tuesday. Went to start it on Wednesday wouldn't start. I have New battery's. HELP !!! Son involved in Bass Federation fishing

Post the year and model number for best results.

Not knowing anything about you, have to assume you aren't familiar with starting outboards, they need to be wet to fire up.

Are you pushing the key in to prime it before cranking ?
Do you hear the primer solenoid click?

Do you fill the bowls with the bulb first?

need lots more info, is it new to you, did it start easier before now?
Have you done any work on it?
