evinrude ,1975,what wires ,where???

hello ,just obtained a 1975 ,20 hp ,B2320,,and it hasnt an exterior wire loom,the wires on the internal loom are white ,red and two black ,white goes to the choke ,red to the starter solinoid ,and the two blacks are hurting my head ,are these the engine cut of leads as where they go to shows negative on my reader and if so doesnt it need a permanent power to keep running ,thanks for your help..piperdog

Connecting the two black wires together (with a switch) stops the motor.
White to choke?? white normally activates the starter solenoid.

your right,thanks ,also there is a connection box with a red ,a white and a yellow wire on ,these go to a small box ,on the same connection as the white wire theres a brown ,does this go to permanent power,thanks
