Last weekend motor ran fine, this week it will not start. I have checked my coils, and they are good. So I have got to the power pack, and there is no fire from one of the coil wires out of the power pack. Does this mean that I need a new power pack? Is there any way to be sure I need a power pack? I am not much of a mechanic so I really need help. Any help greatly appreciated.

If you go to the CDI website and look up your engine, they have a great trouble shooting guide to help you find your problem.

Timerbase, flywheel magnet or powerpack.
Most likely powerpack but worth the wait for that cdi website to get back up unless you like an expensive gamble
