I have just got my 2hp outboard out of the garage as spring is now officially here. Initially it failed to start, but after giving the carb a clean it seems to be working okay. The only issue I seem to have is that I cannot move the throttle below the T of start without the engine cutting out. I have tried adjusting the low speed carb needle, but can't do anything that will get it to run below this. Everything seems to be running reasonably okay, I've just got a much shorter throttle position between idling and full throttle. Any help would be much appreciated.
