I would appreciate any info  on the following motor:

Evinrude 4 hp
Model# 4536a
Serial# e0003172

My dad just gave it to me and I have no clue how old it is or fuel mix. One of the blades on the prop is broken off and the pin that holds it on is missing. The prop is a plastic three blade. Thanks.

Re: Evinrude 4 hp info

Jayus..... Your engine is 1 1975 4hp Evinrude. It is designed to use the 50/1 mixture (1 pint of 50/1 oil to 6 gallons of gasoline). 87 octane is okay to use.

Although I don't have any parts that you need left in stock, I can give you some information on them.

The plastic 3 blade prop is OMC #318487, and has a list price of approximately $34.00. The drive pin for the prop is (Original and superceeded numbers) OMC #316558= 326032= 333513, about $1.75, and the cotter pin is #313683, about $0.55.
