Hello all. New to the board. Looks like plenty of good info here.<br /><br />I recently bought a 20' pontoon with a 70hp Evinrude,fuel injected 4 stroke outboard(low hrs), which will be used mostly for cruising up and down the river. What do you think about the Evinrude ? Anything out of the ordinary I should know about it ?<br /> I did not get the owners manual for the motor with the boat, but have ordered one.<br /><br /> Thanks !<br /> John
<br /><br />That engine was made by Suzuki and is the same as the current Johnson/Suzuki DF70, John. It is a superb engine, and very popular.<br /><br />I had one and know many others who have one. I never heard any complaints. Nothing but praise.<br /><br />Good luck.
