Evinrude 40 HP Carburator question

While squeezing the ball on the fuel line fuel comes out the hole next to the low speed adjustment. I have attached a picture so you can see what hole I'm referring to.

Can anyone tell me why this is doing this?

Gas coming out of there just by squeezing the primer bulb usually indicates a needle/seat or float problem. You are probably going to have to overhaul the carb.

Thank you Daviet. I have been looking for a float but all I can find are the original cork ones. Do you know where I can get the newer replacement ones?

What is the part number for the orginal float?
