Just wondering if anyone can please advise me of one control on front of this motor, (the knob is missing) it is the one which shows a white painted/decal pointed going from left to right, right being the thickest end, could it be an idle setting for tick over or maybe a mixture setting? any help please? also like to know starting procedure for it? thank you. JBD

I believe it's the model with the tank on top? If it is:<br /><br />It's the lean and rich mixture settings. <br /><br />Starting procedure:<br /><br />(gas oil mixture 50 to 1) <br /><br />1. Open vent on tank<br />2. Open gas valve going to carb<br />3. Set mixture to lean<br />4. Set gas lever(throttle) mid to 3/4 towards the right<br />5. Pull choke full out (if engine is cold)<br />6. Pull the cord<br /><br />When it goes, push in choke.

Many thanks for information, this motor is one with seperate gas tank but I suppose all will be the same? thanks for now. JBD
