I have a 97 4-stroke Evinrude (Susuki) and it has performed well.<br /><br />I have one nagging problem which i would like to understand. When you first turn the key the motor goes through a series of diagnistic tests and after all the red lights go out it is safe to start.<br /><br />After the motor is started it sometimes goes through the diagnostic phase right away again. All the red lights go out again but this is quite annoying.<br /><br />Does anyone know what is causing this? I have a Lund boat but hopefully that doesn't mean anything.<br /><br />Thanks
