I have a 73 Evinrude 50Hp Lark, Its a great motor and pushes my 14ft along very well, However, If i miss the startup and dont get it to fire straight away, she floods,giving me no option but to wait 15 mins or remove the plugs, drain the fuel and go again, My startup method is as follows,
Prime Fuel bulb until solid, Choke out, Fire engine, choke in, Then she fires and runs well unless i miss it, Then, As stated, trying to restart results in a flooded engine.
Is there any easy way to rectify this ?
