Evinrude 50hp VRO year? Model?

i have read a lot of posts on how to get year and model, but nothing that i can use. I have a 50hp evinrude. VRO is on the hood. all i have found out is that it is 84 or newer. the plug on the motor has the number G2555796. there are multiple part numbers, but i have had no success trying a reverse search using part numbers. any help would be great. thanks.

Post the model number shown on the mounting bracket of the motor.

the only numbers on the bracket are:
333622 on one side(raised numbers)
333624 on the other side (raised number)

188553 w/ 07BP1 underneath. these are recessed like a stamp.

Not sure what to tell you. I've got effectively that same motor (1986 Johnson 50 hp VRO)

There should be a plate securely fastened to the right side transom mounting bracket that should list the model number as something like E 50EL.....(with a bunch of letters following) ane below this is the serial number

Those plates are securely attached at the factory--there is never a legitimate reason to remove it, and they don't fall off by themselves.
